Previously tethered with BB World w/o an issue on Toshiba w/o WiFi capability. Upgrade to the BB Tour which provided no CD for install of VZAccess Manager, I followed directions and downloaded/installed the latest version for the BB 9630. After the install replaced drivers and the VZAM user-interface, system was unable to recognize the BB.

Jul 25, 2009 · I am having major problems trying to tether my Pearl 8130 to my laptop to use as a modem with VZAccess Manager. I followed the directions to install VZAccess Manager, which worked. When I go through the set up wizard, it detects my Blackberry, but it seems to just not let me tether. After finding the device, the wizard won't go any further.
