The Exotics XCG-V is a very unique driver in that it uses a mixture of materials that include a lightweight magnesium crown, a larger sweet spot than last year's model. In addition, the driver touts lightweight titanium cupface, sidewalls and sole. A V-shape stainless steel rear sole plate provides optimal CG force, much deeper than it's model predecessor.

Mar 21, 2012 · It was great to finally spend some time on the range with these products and was delighted when Tour Edge gave us an opportunity to write a review on the Exotics XCG5 15° Fairway Wood. Tour Edge does things a little differently than the rest of the golf equipment world. They want golfers to utilize the very best materials that are available.
TourEdge XCG5 Driver - Review!

Mar 15, 2012 · Here’s what I can offer. I am a 12 handicap, and, the later part of last year, started using the XCG-V 15 degree for teeing off. At about 245 yards I was pleased, but, was 20-30 yards short of my buddies. In the short grass, mind you (rarley miss fairways), but, short. I saw the XCG5 11.5 Deg 3+ wood. Bought it sight unsee and untested.

Jan 17, 2014 · Pros: Second-to-none ball speeds. The XCG7, XCG7 Beta and CB Pro have three distinct profiles that will please a wide range of golfers. Cons: All three models produce a similar launch and spin, and they’re on the expensive side ($249+). Made-for shafts in the XCG7 and XCG7 Beta. No adjustability. Bottom Line: All three of these fairway […]

Tour Edge is a slightly unknown entity. I have read about their products for some time now, and finally pulled the trigger on a new 3 wood and driver. I already did a detailed review on the driver. The xcg-v 3 wood is TE's newest offering. Supposedly it is the most forgiving yet. I have never had the opportunity to play exotics FWs before.
