Jul 29, 2009 · This is strange. I have the VZW Tour. For the first time, I can say that GPS works with most 3rd party apps I've tried, including Google Maps. On my previous Blackberry, an 8330, GPS worked ONLY with VZNavigator until late last year, when VZW finally unlocked it--then it only worked with BBMaps. I hope you find a solution.

Aug 15, 2009 · So you have gone into the GPS options on your phone and made sure that GPS services is showing "location on"? I have a Tour and Google Maps works perfectly. I just tested it out and it found my location to with 5 meters. Maybe you should try deleting the app, doing a battery pull and then reinstalling the app
