Aug 15, 2009 · I have tried reinstalling on all 4 of my Tour's (all had their own problems from the first batch of bad ones). I've also even tried installing an older version (2.8x), which I knew worked on my Curve, with no luck. It will display my location within xx meters, with a note on the bottom saying "GPS temporarily unavailable".

Jul 22, 2010 · For maps, it says Your current location is temporarily unavailable. This has worked in the past (less than a week ago), and nothing has changed. This happens regardless of GPS being enable or disabled. I typically have GPS disabled (and it works) to preserve battery life.
